Appearance and Attire

All students wear a polo shirt with the ISSR logo; this is available for purchase at the High School Office.

BOYS

• Complete School attire with ID-Card;
• Loose-fitting, plain-coloured black, dark grey or navy blue long trousers or shorts below the knees
• Respectable hairstyles with no / minimum colouring
• Beards and moustaches are not permitted, the sole exceptions to this being light moustaches above the lip which form during puberty and should not, at that stage, be shaved
• One wrist watch
• One simple ring of a size deemed not to pose a risk in laboratories, workshops or any other area of the School, or which poses a risk to other people
• No other jewellery of any type is permitted; 
• Teachers have the right to instruct a student to remove an item of jewelry if it is considered to be a hazard in any activity
• No make up; no coloured contact lenses; no nail varnish; no visible tattoos

GIRLS

• Complete School attire with ID-Card
• Respectable hairstyles with minimum / no colouring
• One wrist watch
• One pair of small, simple, stud earrings of a size deemed not to pose a risk in laboratories, workshops or any other area of the School
• One simple bracelet of a size deemed not to pose a risk in laboratories, workshops or any other area of the School
• One simple ring of a size deemed not to pose a risk in laboratories, workshops or any other area of the School, or which poses a risk to other people
• Teachers have the right to instruct a student to remove an item of jewelry if it is considered to be a hazard in any activity
• Loose-fitting, plain-coloured black, dark grey or navy blue long trousers or shorts below the knees If female students wish to wear skirts that is acceptable provided they are of one of the listed colours, are loose-fitting and extend below the knees.

ALL STUDENTS 

• Trainers or any form of closed footwear is permitted; flip-flops, sandals or any other similar item of footwear is not permitted.
• It is not permitted to wear any clothing that is ripped, patterned or displays any form of logo.

PE Kit 

All students must wear PE kit for Physical Education and Sport. The PE kit is available for purchase at the High School Office.
