This experiment gives lots of practice at predicting reaction feasibility, with the only non-feasible reaction being that between the iron(III) and chloride ions. Not too surprising really as we are starting with iron(III) chloride! Students usually need to be shown at least one example and a bit of help to see what might be reacting with what.
