The solid is very toxic by inhalation. It is a category 2 carcinogen (that is, it is cancer causing). It is toxic if swallowed, and irritates the skin and respiratory system. Wear eye protection and disposable gloves. Avoid raising solid dust. |

Dangerous with: Aluminium, magnesium, carbon, sulfur, combustible materials (many organic chemicals). Gives explosive or strongly burning mixtures.
Disposal: Dilute solutions can be washed down the drain, diluting well with water. Consult your teacher or technician for larger amounts.
