Ammonium dichromate thermal decomposition

This is a pretty demonstration which is sometimes called the volcano experiment. It gives some practice at molar volume calculations. The reaction is started with a hot wire and the ammonium dichromate decomposes according to the equation:

(NH4)2Cr2O7(s) Cr2O3(s) + N2(g) + 4H2O(g)

Use the equation to calculate the volume of nitrogen gas (measured at room temperature and pressure) produced by the thermal decomposition of exactly 5 grams of ammonium dichromate solid. You can check your answer here.
