An acid-base titration

You may want to check that you understand titration theory before you look at this experiment. This type of work requires skill and practice, and is a good test of the practical skills of a potential chemist.

In this experiment we are going to measure the solubility of calcium hydroxide. We shall prepare a saturated solution of the solid and then titrate it with a standard acid. Watch the video and note down the start and finish readings on the burette. Try to calculate the solubility of calcium hydroxide from this data.
